Hi, I'm
Jannabelle.
Here's some random shit about me:
- I'm a natural redhead.
- I'm an
INFJ.
- I live with
Ben
and these rotten cats,
Buster P. Bourgatron
and
Mira.
-
I'm very interested in lineage. It's an on-going search, but my recent ancestors were mostly from: Scotland/Ireland/Wales, Northern Italy, Sweden, France,
and Prussia (now Poland).
My DNA breakdown from MyHeritage.com is:
54.6% English
23.2% Italian
16.9% Irish, Scottish, and Welsh
3.2% Scandinavian
1.1% South American, Indigenous Amazonian
1.0% Ashkenazi Jewish
My DNA breakdown from Ancestry.com (as of September 2018) is:
66% England, Wales, Scotland
14% Germany
11% Ireland, Scotland, Wales
4% Norway
3% France
2% Sweden
Ancestry.com used to say I was:
41% Irish/Scottish/Welsh
19% Scandinavian
16% Italian/Greek
9% Spanish/Portuguese
6% Great Britain
4% Europe West
2% Finland/Northwest Russia
2% Europe East
1% Middle East
It's a bit of a mystery, but I look forward to more updates.
- I have
synesthesia.
- I like hot baths and cold showers.
- I sing the song "Tell
Me" by Groove Theory about ten times a day.
- I think armadillos are adorable, also raccoons,
foxes, goats, red pandas, sloths, penguins, and polar bears. I love almost all
animals, though I fear those who can fly.
- I like to take
photos.
-
I accidentally drank a bee once when I was 11.
I was at a family reunion
so I tried to act like I was cool with it.
I was not, not even a little bit.
- I smile a lot, but I've been told that my resting
face looks 'angry' (for the record, I'm almost never angry)
- I'm fascinated by
this blog.
(It used to be a catalog of these gorgeous, dingy photos...now it's just a gif
of pancakes...no less fascinating.)
- My current score on Tetris DS is:
15,816,000
- When something bad happens, I say the word "crumb".
It just started happening and I can't figure out why.
-
This
was my favorite song when I was 6...it explains a lot.
- I was once called a "well-read-head" - it felt perfect.
- When I see a bridge, I usually fall in love with it.
- I sometimes take my clothes off in my sleep.
- I'm really good at pouring liquids from one
container to another.
- The work of
Dan Flavin
makes me feel exuberant.
- I like it when vegetables look like they're having
sex together.
- I can crack my neck like nobody's business,
also sometimes my sternum cracks and it feels all tingly in my chest for a while.
- I like to draw pictures of robots (they all look
really terrible).
-
Pantone
gives me a girl boner.
- I can come up with vulgar compound words to
call my friends like "VulvaFace" and/or "DickLeg" on the spot.
(maybe my favorite talent after the bad robot
drawings)
I paint sometimes. Here are a few favorites:
